If I can get through this week...

Utah weather. Psh. What a joke. I was fuh-reezing today! And it was snowing! But really, I'm not surprised. I've lived in Utah all my life, and there are always at least 2 or 3 small snowstorms that blow through before it really warms up. Whatever.

Have you ever been ridiculously frustrated, but had no idea where to pinpoint the frustration? Ya. That's kinda what's going on right now. It's not bad. I'm not like, ready to give up on life or anything. I'm just frustrated. And the frustration is growing larger because I can't figure out what it is that's frustrating me! It's a vicious cycle, really. It's probably just the fact that I'm a woman and apparently we are notorious for having weird, inexplicable emotions. Whatever.

I'm taking a break from my art history essay right now. I sat down for an hour (almost...there was about a ten minute break in the middle where my roommate came and we talked for a little bit) and worked on this essay that I've had looming on my to-do list for a few weeks. It's not done, but it's so much closer than when I started, and I've made some progress. It's only a rough draft, too, so it's not like it has to make much sense. She said as long as there was a legitimate essay turned in (whether it was coherent or not) we'd get credit. I love that class, I really do. I rocked my test the other day in that class (95! Seriously, one of the best test scores I've got since coming to BYU) and I was pretty proud of myself. I probably made about a 10-15% increase from my first test to my second test, so it was quite the accomplishment. I love art, though. Some people are so driven by science or math or English, but art...ya. That's my thing.

Anyways...this was just kind of a random post. Not as random as the letter I finally got from one of "my" missionaries (I use the term "my" loosely....I have about six guys out on missions right now that I'm writing because they are basically my best friends, so I'll claim them as "mine"). Seriously, not a word about how his mission was going, but just random stuff. Haha. I think he's going stir-crazy in the MTC. At least I think that's the case. I'll let myself believe that, because I can't explain the randomness of the letter otherwise. Haha.

I got married on March 26th, and it was a blizzard that day, so I always know not to expect no snow until May.

Hope you get rid of the frustration soon!

I have a week and a half of hell. Exactly. If we can live through this, we'll be fine.
