Spring Fever

*sigh of relief*

I'm finally done with my art history test now! Last week, it was government, and then I realized I should probably start stressing about my art history test (which I started stressing about maybe a little later than I would have liked). So, that's where I've been the past few days. Studying my brains out with the High Italian Renaissance and Humanism and all sorts of good stuff (really, though...that stuff actually interests me, which is very different from amendments and all that jazz).

Can I just tell you, though, how much I've got spring fever? The past couple days haven't necessarily been warm, per se, but they've definitely been a lot nicer than the frigid January temperatures we've had (now, I know with Utah's ridiculous weather patterns, we'll have at least four or so more storms before April comes, but it's still a nice idea that maybe, just maybe things are looking up).

This always happens. I always get hard core spring fever at this time of year. Haha.

That's why I love daffodils so much. They're always the first flowers to come through in my mom's garden (and my mom has the best garden...really, in the nearby vicinity of houses in our neighborhood, hers is the best [and now I'm hoping that nobody from those houses actually reads my blog...oops]) and they always just bring warmer weather with them. Well, with the exception of last year. I remember coming out of my house at the end of March to a huge snow storm, and I saw my mom's little daffodils completely bent over and covered in snow. This sounds kind of cheesy, but really, I was a little heartbroken! These little yellow flowers just poking out of the snow. It made me glad I wasn't a daffodil.

I really hope it gets warmer. It's nice today! I've just been wearing a sweater!

It's February.... Spring fever shouldn't come yet! And please don't speak to me about tests yet. Don't remind me!

I'm also glad you're not a daffodil.
