You know, sometimes I can't help but think that alliterations can be pretty cheesy (especially when it comes to labeling singles ward activities....Linger Longer? Really, people...). Like the title of my post for instance...very cheesy, but I'm not going to change it. I can't come up with something more clever. Poetically speaking, alliterations can be awesome....but not in the way I used them, and I'm willing to accept that.
I've decided that I go through phases where certain songs kind of pertain to me or I find that I like a certain song more during a specific week than I do at other times. So I've decided to compile a weekly list of songs that hold a special place in my heart for that week. And really, if nobody likes the songs or the bands or whatever....meh, we're all entitled to our opinions. It takes all kinds of people to make a world.
So, in no particular order, here is my Fab Five Friday! (Good grief, I can't do that with a straight face.)
1. Won't Go Home Without You by Maroon 5
2. Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory
3. Fearless by Taylor Swift
4. For the Longest Time by Billy Joel
5. Don't Stop Believing by Journey (take note of the awesomely ridiculous '80s shirt that Steve Perry is wearing...it doesn't get much better than that)
