It's raining!
Some of the time, I'm not a huge rain fanatic (depending on what mood you catch me in) but sometimes rain just comes at a very proper time in life. I was thinking to myself the other day how much I wanted rain. I wanted all the snow to melt away, and I wanted some green and color back into my life, or at least in my walks to and from classes (and I also wanted this craptastic smog to go away).
Have you ever noticed how things just look brighter and more colorful when it's raining? Like the greens look just a little greener, or the reds are even more red than normal. I like that.
Rain is kind of also like a wake up call. Like you've been walking around in this haze for a while, and when it rains, it kind of jolts you awake and you realize what you're doing in life or what you want to do. I don't know if that makes sense. Meh. I don't care. It's refreshing. Granted, it does get your hair and clothes sopping wet, which sucks (especially if your shower got broken by the freakin' people who own the freakin' apartment so you can't even take a shower) but it's still kind of nice. It's like when you splash water on your face to come to terms with reality, it's that kind of feeling.

I'm just happy it's not snow.
Amen, Kristina, AMEN.
It's snowing HERE.
But I like the way you described the rain - I agree with you. I like it!
I thought of you as I was walking through the rain today. I said to myself, "Well Kayleigh, here is the rain you were asking for."
and then I saw like, 5 worms on the ground. Really? Where the crap are they living right now?? Worms don't hibernate.
Rain in January is gross. You're gross for liking rain in January.
