Beta fish for sale

88% on my Religion class exam today. I had very minimal study time, so needless to say, I was very pleased with the outcome. That's the third exam I've taken in the past two weeks, and I have two more next week...one for a class I've already taken an exam in as well! Woohoo!

I find one of the most awkward things while walking through campus is when you're on the sidewalk by yourself when someone starts walking on the sidewalk heading towards you. What do you do? It's awkward to look away, but kind of weird to look at them and say something, too. Generally, I end up making eye contact and saying a quick hello with a smile. I mean, what's the harm in that, right? Maybe uncomfortable, but it does more good than the equally uncomfortable "looking away." Well, today, while on the sidewalk walking to my apartment, there was a guy walking in my direction. I figured I'd take the chance, look at him and say a nice, friendly hello. He had his headphones in (which, by the way, you can totally hear through unless you're COMPLETELY deafening yourself with music, and I doubt he was) and I looked up and smiled and said, "Hi." Instantaneously when I made eye contact with him, he looked away and didn't even acknowledge my hello.

Ya, I know. For rude. :)

Nah, I wasn't that offended. I just thought it was rather funny. I'll probably never see that guy again, and it was extremely awkward, but the situation itself was just so dumb.

Oh, and another congratulations to me...I've finished the third season of The Office! (not really a congratulations, I guess...it's just now I don't have an excuse and I'll actually have to get to my homework instead of spending my time endlessly waiting for the Jim and Pam situation to fix itself).

Wear sunglasses. It cuts down ALL the awkwardness.
(Can you tell I'm bored and supposed to be studying right now? Sorry for all the comments.)

I just stare at people and DON'T say anything. It's a way of proving dominance.
