I came home for the weekend yesterday and since I've been home, haha, my favorite people in the world have said some pretty hilarious things.
First is a quote one of my friends made (as per request of the "quotee" he will remain anonymous). He was talking about a girl he was having a sort-of relationship with, and this is what he said.
"I kissed her. Then I kissed her again. I kissed her some more. I kissed her a lot."
Then, a quote from one of my best friends, Brant. We were at Arby's after Clearfield's (and Layton's) football games, and an oldies radio station was playing. Creedence Clearwater Revival's song, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" came on, and I was singing a little bit of it out loud. Brant then turns to me and says loudly and matter-of-factly, "Billy Joel." I look at him with a confused look and say slowly, "Creedence Clearwater Revival." Then he looks at me and says, "No...the band." (referring to the band who sings the song) Then I laugh and say, "...is Creedence Clearwater Revival. And Billy Joel isn't a band."
My last quote is from my dad. After everything was said and done last night, we decided to all go back to my house. So, it was me, Brant, Casey, Andy, and JJ. Four boys. We were in my kitchen/dining room and we were all talking with my parents. My mom's craft stuff for Super Saturday was in one corner of the room, and when the boys were getting rowdy, my mom began getting extremely protective of her stuff. The following dialogue ensued.
Mom: Careful! Those are my cards for Super Saturday!
Brant: What's Super Saturday?
Casey: It's like Mardi Gras.
Dad: Ya, only minus the beads and double the boobs.
Those boys got a kick out of that.
As did I, now that I think about it. Haha, it was pretty funny. :)
