7:36 am. 700 North.

My feet are always sore.

Usually, I will always have some sort of blister or cut or scrape on my feet, because I wear shoes that aren't conducive to my everyday activities. When I go running, my feet are generally uncomfortable.

But there's something to be said for sore feet combined with the straining of lungs. With the muscles of my legs moving and my eyes watering and my mouth needing to spit. It's not a glamorous thing, running. It's real. I feel like real things are never glamorous, but that's what makes them beautiful. Glamorous can't be beautiful. Not in the way beauty should be.

It's worn legs pounding broken pavement. It's our bodies uniting with our souls to solve problems.
