it was one of those mornings where i turned over in my bed and could see how the sky was a brilliant shade of tangerine. it complemented the yellow of the scarce leaves left on the tree outside my window. i put on my flannel.
also one of those mornings where i woke up before eight (on a day i don't have to work) and made pancakes. blue ones. with food coloring older than i am.
i love fall.
winds are blowing.
