People

I am such a people watcher. I remember when I was in junior high and my friend and I would go to the mall, because when you're 14 that's like, the cool thing to do. Anyways, we'd go and just sit on a bench and make up conversations for people walking by, or make up what their lives are like. I still do that. I wonder sometimes what's going through the minds of the people that I walk by on campus every day. I think it just fascinates me that everybody is so different. Everybody has different experiences in life, different likes and dislikes, different things that make them scared or happy. Something about that is just so cool.

I don't always feel this way, though. Occasionally, I'll be in a spiteful mood and I'll just be intolerant of society and people (that sounds ridiculous but when I'm mad, I'm very impatient). But most of the time, when society isn't out to get me, I just like to wonder what people are thinking, or what a specific person's life story might be. Does anybody else do this? Or is this just a quirk of mine, because heaven only knows I have a lot of those.

In other news, I was no longer a third wheel last night! I was on a legitimate date! Yes, Wes and Whit were there, but I wasn't the tag-along! And, in typical Kayleigh fashion, I ended up slipping on some ice and hurting my foot hard-core. But a date just wouldn't be a date for me unless I fell and made a fool of myself.

And yay for dates! Are you going to tell us about it or is there a possibility he might read this??

I've been thinking about posting it, because I can't imagine he would find it. And he's kind of going on a mission next week...so he probably won't find it at all.

Hey, give me some credit, instead of making you the 3rd wheel, I pushed you into inviting Joe. :) I'm such a good friend.

Hope the foot's okay. Love that you had a date, and I am a huge people watcher. I try to figure out their occupation, personality and scale on the bit--y barometer. It certainly makes time at the airport seem less boring.
