Hypochondriac

I just got out of my biology class, where we're still talking about viruses and influenza and pandemics, and we watched a movie about the 1918 Spanish Influenza outbreak. It talked about how they had face masks on to try to prevent the spread of the virus. I came out of the classroom feeling like the world was no safe place to live anymore and somehow I was going to get a terrible case of influenza and die. I always think that, though, and tend to over react with things.

But then I came into the Joseph Smith Building to catch up on some homework. I sat down near the back of the foyer that has all the desks and couches and everything, and this person comes in through the doors with a face mask on.

Holy crap. I stared at him the entire time he walked by and thought, "We are all going to die of influenza or whatever disease this guy has that is obviously not being blocked by his blue face mask."

Sometimes I hate learning about things. Ignorance really can be bliss.

Funny. I bet the guy thought you were ignorant for staring at him. You could always get a flu shot.
