And the snow just keeps on coming

What is with people at BYU and randomly talking to me? Some girl came up to me when I was walking home from an evening class last semester, and just started talking to me. I was a little freaked. Walking through the blizzard to my class today, this random kid starts sliding in the snow and asking me how my day is, yadda yadda, etc. I mean, I know he was probably just trying to be friendly...but what?! I don't know him!! For all he knows, I'm a bum on the street, just posing as a BYU student! Ya. Really wise decision on his part.

Well. I've officially been to all my classes this semester (with the exception of my anthropology lab...who knew there was such nonsense in the world!). I can honestly say I'm looking forward to my art history class, and I will probably sleep through my government class. I hate government. My anthropology teacher...well, he's a piece of work. He came into class, and he was wearing a cardigan with elbow patches over his shirt and tie. Elbow patches? Seriously? But that wasn't really what did me in with him. It was the way he talked. He drawled out all of his vowel sounds to make himself sound more sophisticated. I half expected him to pull out a pipe and start smoking it if that wasn't against the Honor Code, although I'm sure that even the BYU Honor Code may be below him, since he kind of seems like he esteems himself pretty high. Whatever. He'll be funny to laugh at. Sorry. That sounds caustic, but I'm completely serious. This guy seems slightly crazy and into himself.

As for my biology teacher...I like him. He's pretty freakin' awesome. Basically, it's like having Dwight Schrute teach my class, only this guy's not so Dwight-ish. He just looks like him. I'm not a science fan (as we can all tell through the lovely reports I gave last semester about physics) but this class might not be so bad.

And my friend Whitney kissed her home teacher last night. That's such a classic BYU moment...except she goes to UVU. Hm. He sounds like a keeper, though. He rides dirtbikes (perfect for her) and he can quote The Rescuers Down Under apparently, which is amazing, because Whit and I love that movie and think it is the single most under-rated Disney movie of all time.

So, three cheers for Whitney and for egotistical anthropology teachers!! Hip hip...HOORAY! x3

Oh, and my 100th post is coming up, and by coming up I mean it's going to be the next post I do. I want to join the ranks of blog-dom (who says things like that?) and do something cool. Any suggestions?

People ALWAYS randomly talk to me too! I don't know what it is either. It's just like, "WHY ME?" Go torture someone else with your inane comments!
I don't know what to do.... Maybe umm.... 100 things you'd rather do than homework or go to class. I like that one.
