Code red, code red...we've got a rule breaker!

Oh, the mentality of physics teachers...

We were in class the other day, and he was trying to describe a problem about forces and the forces that were acting on this kid sitting on a swing. In speaking about the problem, heaven forbid he say anything about the kid's "butt." Well, he did (*gasp!*), and it freaks me out a little at how much he hesitated when he said it. What freaked me out more was that I was in a class full of people that were 20-years-old and up, and that people actually laughed when he said it.

Butt. Hilarious. *insert sarcasm here*

And the real kicker was that after saying such a horrendous word, my physics professor said, "Ya, go ahead and report that to the Honor Code office."

I can only wait until the day he decides to exclaim, "Oh crap!" when one of his demos go wrong or something.

Please don't ever show him my blog. I'm sure he would be horrified, the BYU alumnus I am.

Deal. I don't exactly make it a huge point to talk to the man (physics isn't exactly my favorite subject), so I'm thinking chances are he'll never see it. :)

You're kidding. The word 'butt' is considered offensive or risque? What about 'rump' or 'heinie'? I know! 'Tuckus' ought to work! It's Yiddish!

Haha, I think it was just the kind of nerdy physics teacher who thought it was risque. I say butt all the time, and I don't have the moral police after me. :) Although I'm thinking I like the Yiddish...I'll have to incorporate that into my vocabulary.

There are lots of good Yiddish slang sites if you really want to bone up on them. Either that or move to NYC for a while, hang out in delis...

You DID make a public apology for a song you posted that said the "F" word in the middle of it the other day....

and when I say, "the other day" I mean roughly seven years ago.
